About Us

A dining area with colorful tables and artwork on the walls. — Elks Lodge
A dining area with colorful tables and artwork on the walls.

Lodge 888 was instituted in 1904, originally chartered in Long Beach before planting its roots on Bellflower Blvd. That's 120-plus years of handshakes, shared meals, and showing up for neighbors when it matters most. Members who've carried their card for 43 years or more aren't an anomaly here, they're the backbone of the place.

Thursday nights belong to Bingo, where volunteers pour the coffee, pass the cookies, and run a tight, friendly game that draws regulars week after week. On the second and fourth Tuesday of every month, karaoke kicks off at 6 PM, turning the lodge into something that feels less like a club meeting and more like a family reunion with a decent sound system and well-priced drinks.

The Bellflower Elks are part of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, a national organization with a 150-year track record of charitable work, veterans support, and youth programs. What that means locally is simple: when this community needs something, Lodge 888 answers.

What We Offer

Karaoke nights on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month start at 6 PM and draw a crowd that ranges from first-timers to regulars who've claimed the same song for years. Drinks are good, prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is exactly the kind of low-pressure fun that's hard to find.

Thursday Bingo is a lodge staple. Volunteers run the games, the coffee stays hot, and the cookies are the kind of detail that keeps people coming back. It's open, welcoming, and genuinely enjoyable whether you're a lifelong member or walking in for the first time.

Beyond the weekly events, the lodge supports veterans programs, youth scholarships, and community outreach efforts that have been part of its DNA since the charter was signed. Membership opens the door to all of it, plus a national network of over 800,000 Elks across the country.

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
